How do I set the browser icon (favicon)?
Upload the small icon shown in browser tabs.
Open Site Settings → Browser icon and upload a square image. A simple PNG at 256×256 pixels or larger is a good choice. It will be used as your favicon, the small icon shown in browser tabs.
A simple, high-contrast logo or initial works best at small sizes. Avoid fine detail, as it won't be readable at 16×16 pixels.
Why am I still seeing the old icon?
Publish your changes and open the live website in a fresh browser tab. Browsers often cache favicons, so an old icon can remain visible after the upload succeeds. If the upload fails, try a smaller square PNG. If it still fails, with your site address and the error shown.
