Why did my LutonIQ conversation disappear?
How tab-scoped saving works, how to keep research permanently and where saved research appears.
If you are not signed in
Your conversation is kept in that browser tab only. Navigating away and coming back, including using the browser back button, restores it automatically. Closing the tab, clearing site data or using private browsing removes it for good. Download or copy anything important before closing the tab.
Keep research permanently
After an answer, signed-out visitors see a Keep this research prompt. Creating a free account or signing in saves the conversation to your account, and the research you already had in the tab carries across. Signed-in answers save automatically.
Where is my saved research?
Open your dashboard and look for the LutonIQ card, which shows your recent research and a shortcut to ask a new question. Saved research belongs to your account, not to a device, so it follows you across phone and computer.
Links to tools from an answer
When an answer suggests a OneLuton tool, such as the hourly rate calculator, the tool opens with a Back to LutonIQ banner so you can return to your conversation without losing it.
