How does AI site generation work?

Understand starter content, missing images and what to do when generation is incomplete.

When you create a new site, OneLuton's AI engine generates a complete starter: copy, section structure, and imagery, based on what you tell it about your business.

Two-model architecture

We use a fast model (Gemini Flash) for site structure and short copy decisions, and a more capable model (Gemini Pro) for long-form content like blog articles. This gives you both speed and quality without paying for the heavyweight model where it isn't needed.

Imagery

We pull relevant photos from Unsplash, fetched sequentially with a tracking list to avoid duplicates. If no suitable photo is returned, an image area may be empty or show an upload placeholder. This is not a selected business photo: add your own image and check every photo before publishing.

Resilience

Some missing content, such as an article or photo, can leave a starter site you can complete manually. Other generation failures can stop setup. Read any error and check your Dashboard for an already-created website before trying again. Do not assume every failed request leaves a usable site.
