What validation is enforced on contact and newsletter forms?
How submissions are validated and protected from spam.
Validated for proper format on submit. Empty or malformed emails are rejected before reaching the database.
Phone (contact form only)
Optional. Accepts any reasonable format, UK or international. Stored exactly as entered.
Message
Required on the contact form, with a sensible character limit. HTML is stripped to prevent injection.
Spam protection
Server-side validation runs on every submission. Suspicious patterns are rejected silently so bots don't learn what to avoid.
